Seminars | |
| codeaccess provides
seminars on fire safety portions of building codes, as well as, on regulations requiring
accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Accessibility seminars include topics on the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Fair Housing Act (FHA). All seminars are
health, safety and welfare (HSW) seminars and approved by the AIA. Most, if not all, states accept AIA approved
courses. We report AIA members' attendance to AIA, but all participants, whether they are
members of AIA or not, must self-report their attendance to each state in accordance with
each individual state's rules for reporting. There are three ways of taking seminars from codeaccess. They are: 1. Public Seminars - available to the general public; 2. InHouse Seminars - available to the staff of a sponsoring entity only; and 3. Club Seminars - arranged by a sponsoring entity and available to the guests of the sponsoring entity |
