Amendments Act (FHAA), as well as,   ICC/ANSI  A117.1 and many State codes. All seminars are health, safety and welfare (HSW) seminars and are Registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA).   Most,  if not all states  accept AIA approved courses.  codeaccess reports  AIA members' attendance to the AIA,  but all  participants, whether they are members of the AIA  or not,  must  self-report their attendance  to each  state  in accordance with each  individual state's rules for reporting.

PRIVATE SEMINARS
codeaccess can provide health, safety and welfare (HSW) seminars for individual firms, corporations or government entities. A private seminar provides an unique opportunity for the content of the seminar to respond directly to the individual needs of the sponsoring entity.  Often, that entity's own projects can be used as the basis for discussion of code or accessibility regulations.  These seminars are available to the staff of the sponsoring entity and their guests and can also be made available to the general public if so desired. Upon request, codeaccess will post the seminar on this  website. Please contact James Scott at (205) 592-0603 for more information. Fees for a standard 8-hour, HSW seminar are shown in the table below.

SEMINAR FEES
codeaccess
seminars are priced to include all instruction, overhead, and travel expenses. The venue, handout materials, and any refreshments must be provided by the sponsoring entity. An electronic file of all handout materials in pdf will be provided to the sponsoring entity for reproducing. Travel expenses are based on customary travel over moderate distances with an overnight stay. If travel expenses require more nights, higher air fare, or other additional expenses, the seminar fees quoted below will be adjusted. Any such adjustments will be made before the seminar with the sponsoring entity's approval. If no travel is required or if the seminar venue is within easy driving distance, the fees below will be reduced accordingly and the adjustments will be made before the seminar with the sponsoring entity's approval.
